Lessons available in the
centre of Truro - approximately
5 minutes walk from both
the train and bus stations
Weekly lessons held during term time (it may be possible to arrange them during the holidays too). For children, parents are required to attend, so they can help with practice at home.

In addition, there are fortnightly group lessons. These are fun, motivational and an opportunity to further develop skills, self-confidence, musicianship and learn more about music. Parents are not required to attend these. This helps to create the Suzuki 'family' in which everyone appreciates and supports each other musically and in other ways.

Susan charges £30 per hour. Length of required lesson would be discussed on enquiry. The cost is shared for group lessons plus any extra costs.

Fees are to be paid at the commencement of each half term.

Concerts are held 2-3 times per year when students have the opportunity to share what they have been learning and perform solos.
Everyone is encouraged to learn theory, take exams and join orchestras where appropriate - but it is not essential.

If you are thinking of buying an instrument, please consult Susan first. Having the correct size stringed instrument, for example, is very important.
